Role Overview:You will be responsible for managing Branch Payments or Trade processing, CMS, Clearing, New Account, and Deposit activities in Mumbai Branch Operations. This critical role involves overseeing client delivery, regulatory requirements, auditors, and collaborating with Technology for innovation initiatives. Key business partners include Heads of GTS sales and Product, Senior Corporate Bankers, Wholesale Credit, Country Compliance, and Audit. You will advocate and coordinate the end-to-end business process, ensuring accurate execution of Trade and payment activities for Corporate, Financial, and Commercial Banking clients. Your leadership, decision-making, coaching, and workflow management skills will be essential for managing a large diverse team.Key Responsibilities:- Manage Branch Payments or Trade processing, Regulatory Reporting, Tax Reporting, and Financial Reconciliation- Manage CMS, Clearing, New Account, and Deposit activities- Ensure end-to-end accurate processing of transactions as per bank and regulatory guidelines- Work on Business Continuity Planning for the Central Processing Unit- Support system enhancement projects by participating in BRD preparation, User Acceptance testing, and Implementation- Lead with a global perspective and articulate Enterprise Vision- Serve as a key contact for Clients, Regulators, and Business Partners- Establish a continuous Process Improvement environment- Execute and integrate new capabilities meeting Regional and Global objectives- Translate data into key business metrics for decision making- Build a culture and process to identify, mitigate, and control Operational Risk- Develop and execute effective Business Continuity and Event management processes- Drive Satisfactory audits, reviews,
exams (internal and regulator driven)- Ensure proper communication and compliance with regulatory requirementsQualifications Required:- Post-Graduate with a minimum of 10 years experience in handling Trade/Payments/CMS/Clearing/Cash/Card Settlement Operations with a private/foreign bank- Strong written and oral communication skills- Ability to manage volumes and multi-task with accuracy against stiff deadlines- Team Management experience- Excellent Customer Service and Inter-personal skillsAbout the Company:Bank of Americas purpose is to make financial lives better through the power of every connection.
