Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Azure Data Engineer / Microsoft Fabric Developer for a part-time remote opportunity. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in modern data engineering, cloud analytics, ETL development, and business intelligence solutions, preferably within the Manufacturing domain.
You will work on designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines, data models, analytics solutions, and reporting dashboards using Microsoft Azure ecosystem and Power BI.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Microsoft Fabric.
- Build scalable data solutions using PySpark and Azure data services.
- Design and maintain Data Mart, Data Warehouse, and ETL processes.
- Create optimized Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models.
- Work with SQL databases to develop queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
- Migrate and integrate data from multiple sources into cloud-based platforms.
- Develop automation solutions using Power Apps where required.
- Collaborate with business teams to understand reporting requirements.
- Support manufacturing analytics use cases including production, operations, and business insights.
Required Skills
- Solid experience with Microsoft Fabric
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Advanced knowledge of Power BI
- Robust SQL development skills
- Experience with SSIS and ETL workflows
- Knowledge of Data Mart / Data Warehouse concepts
- Experience with PySpark
- Exposure to Power Apps
- Manufacturing industry data experience preferred
