We are looking for a sharp, hands-on Marketing Manager who can own the Sri Chaitanya brand end to end — from how we show up to masses through ATL or to individuals through BTL. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and execution. You will not just shape the brand narrative but also drive campaigns across channels, manage agency and vendor partners, and use data to make every rupee work harder.
This is not a just strategy role. You will get your hands dirty — writing briefs, reviewing creatives, executing and tracking campaign metrics, coordinating with business team, product and academics, and constantly iterating based on what's working and what's not.
. Brand Strategy & Positioning
- Own and evolve the Sri Chaitanya brand identity — positioning, voice, visual language, and messaging architecture across all touchpoints.
- Build and refresh the brand narrative for different audience segments: students (Grade 8–12) and parents.
- Conduct competitive brand audits and track brand health metrics (aided/unaided recall, NPS, sentiment).
2. Creative & Content Development
- Lead the creative process end to end — from ideation and briefing to review, feedback, and final sign-off on all creatives, and execute it.
- Write or direct compelling copy for campaigns, social media, product launches, and landing pages.
- Manage relationships with creative agencies, designers, video production houses, and content creators.
- Ensure all creative output meets the brand's editorial and visual standards — no generic, templated work ships.
3. Market Research & Consumer Insights
- Commission and lead primary research to uncover insights that shape brand and product strategy.
- Track competitor activity across offline coaching and identify white spaces for differentiation.
- Analyse category trends, enrolment patterns, exam cycles, and seasonal behaviour to time campaigns effectively.
- Translate research findings into actionable briefs for creative, product, and growth teams.
4. Social Media & Community Management
- Own the social media calendar and content strategy across Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and emerging platforms.
- Drive organic growth through culturally relevant,
shareable content — not just promotional posts.
- Manage influencer and creator partnerships: identification, negotiation, briefing, and performance tracking.
- Monitor social listening tools and community sentiment; respond to trends and conversations in real time.
- Track social KPIs (engagement rate, follower growth, share of voice) and report monthly with actionable insights.
5. Media Planning and Execution
- Closely work with regional teams to build ATL/ BTL marketing plans, ensure optimizations at local level.
- Brief and review ad creatives, landing pages, and conversion funnels from a brand lens.
- Own the marketing budget; plan, allocate, and track spends across channels with clear ROI accountability.
6. Events & On-Ground Activations
- Plan and execute on-ground events — school activations, parent seminars, exam prep workshops, result celebration campaigns, and education expos.
- Manage event logistics, vendor coordination, branded collateral, and post-event reporting.
- Identify sponsorship and partnership opportunities aligned with brand objectives (school partnerships, exam bodies, government schemes).
- Capture event content (photos, video, testimonials) for use across marketing channels.
7. CRM & Lifecycle Marketing
- Design and own the CRM communication strategy across SMS, WhatsApp, and push notifications.
- Map the user journey (lead → trial → subscription → renewal → referral) and build automated, personalised communication flows for each stage.
- Segment audiences by grade, exam type, engagement level, and geography to deliver relevant messaging.
- Track CRM metrics (open rates, click rates, conversion, churn) and continuously optimise cadence, copy, and timing.
- Partner with Product and Sales to align CRM touchpoints with in-app nudges and sales outreach.
8. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with Product/Academics to align launches, courses as per the seasonality
- Partner with Sales to create collateral school presentations, BTL activities
- Coordinate with the academic content team to package results, testimonials, and student success stories for marketing use.
- Present brand performance reviews and campaign post-mortems to leadership on a monthly/quarterly basis.
WHO YOU ARE
- 5–8 years of experience in marketing management, communications, or a similar role ideally in offline education (Schools, Coaching or Higher Education) D2C, or FMCG.
- Proven track record of building or scaling a consumer brand with demonstrable campaign results.
- Strong creative instinct with an equally strong analytical mindset, you can write a headline and read a dashboard.
- Hands on experience in managing Events/ BTL activities.
- Hands-on experience managing creative agencies, media planners, and production vendors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Hindi proficiency is a strong plus.
- Comfortable working in a quick-paced, metric-driven environment where priorities shift and speed matters.
- Should be ready to travel across cities to plan and execute campaigns whenever required.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA in Marketing from a reputed institution is preferred.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience in the education or exam-prep industry
- Familiarity with AI tools.
- Prior experience managing ATL, BTL and regional media campaigns.
- A portfolio of campaigns, content, or brand work you're proud of.
WHY Sri Chaitanya Academy
- Be part of a brand backed by Sri Chaitanya's 40+ year legacy in education, now reimagined for the digital-first generation.
- Work on a product that genuinely impacts students lives, from a village in Andhra Pradesh to a metro apartment in Mumbai.
- Collaborate with a sharp, ambitious marketing team that values craft, speed, and clear thinking over bureaucracy.
- Competitive compensation, hybrid flexibility, and the opportunity to shape a category-defining brand.
