Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Virtualization SME to design, implement, optimize, and support enterprise virtualization platforms across on-premises, private, and hybrid cloud environments. The candidate will act as a technical lead for virtualization infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and scalability of mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Architect, deploy, and manage enterprise virtualization environments.
- Lead design and implementation of VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, and other virtualization technologies.
- Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, disaster recovery, and infrastructure optimization.
- Manage ESXi hosts, vCenter, clusters, datastores, distributed switches, and virtual networking.
- Drive virtualization modernization initiatives, including hybrid cloud and container integration.
- Design and support High Availability (HA), Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS), vMotion, SRM, and backup solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex virtualization, storage, networking, and performance issues.




- Collaborate with security, cloud, network, and platform engineering teams.
- Define infrastructure standards, governance, and best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.

Qualifications

- BE/B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related disciplines.
- VMware Certified Qualified (VCP) preferred.
- VMware Advanced Professional (VCAP) certification will be an added advantage.
- Experience managing large-scale enterprise virtualization environments.
