Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain custom Magento 2 modules and extensions.
- Customize Magento 2 functionality using Plugins, Observers, Preferences, Events, and Dependency Injection (DI).
- Build and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
- Optimize Magento performance, including indexing, caching, and database queries.
- Debug production issues and deliver efficient, scalable solutions.
- Work with Magento Cron Jobs, Indexers, Queue Processing, and CLI commands.
- Collaborate with frontend developers working on Hyvä, PWA Studio, or custom React frontends.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following Magento best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Magento 2 development.

• Strong proficiency in PHP 8+ and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).

• Excellent understanding of Magento 2 architecture and development best practices.





• Good understanding of Magento Catalog, Checkout, Customer, Sales, and CMS modules.

• Strong knowledge of MySQL.

• Good debugging and troubleshooting skills.

• Hands-on experience with:

-Custom Module Development

-Plugins & Observers

-Dependency Injection (DI)

-Preferences

-UI Components

-Extension Attributes

-Service Contracts
