Role Description The Senior Tender Manager role is a full time, on-site position based in Bhopal. This role is responsible for leading the end-to-end tendering process, including opportunity identification, evaluation of tender requirements, preparation of bids, and submission of proposals for transformers and solar solutions. The Senior Tender Manager collaborates with sales, engineering, finance, and operations teams to gather technical and commercial inputs, ensure compliance with client and regulatory specifications, and develop competitive pricing and bid strategies. Day-to-day activities include analyzing tender documents, coordinating clarifications with clients, managing timelines, maintaining tender databases and documentation, and tracking bid outcomes to refine future strategies.



The role also involves building strong relationships with key customers, utilities, EPC partners, and government agencies, while contributing to business planning and revenue growth objectives.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for evaluating tender documents, assessing risks, and developing competitive bid strategies.
- Candidates should possess Business Planning and Sales Operations skills to forecast tender pipelines, align bids with business goals, and coordinate cross-functional bid activities.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact with clients, clarify requirements, present proposals, and maintain long-term relationships.
- Experience in tender management, bid preparation, or contracts management in the power, electrical, or renewable energy sector is highly beneficial.
- Strong understanding of transformers, power distribution systems, or solar power projects, including technical specifications and industry standards, is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office and tender management tools, with attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field; relevant postgraduate qualifications or certifications in tendering, contracts, or project management are an advantage.
- Ability to work under deadlines, manage multiple tenders simultaneously, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
