Role Description The Commercial Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Belāpur. This role is responsible for overseeing commercial operations, including pricing, contract negotiation, and revenue optimization across shipping and logistics services. The Commercial Manager will develop and implement business plans, monitor market trends, and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and partners to support sustainable growth. Daily tasks include reviewing contracts, analyzing commercial performance,



coordinating with operations and finance teams, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The role also involves leading and mentoring sales team members, preparing regular reports for senior management, and contributing to strategic decisions that enhance competitiveness and profitability.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Commercial Management and Contract Management skills to handle negotiations, agreements, and pricing strategies.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to interpret data, assess market conditions, and support informed commercial decisions.
- Candidates should possess Business Planning capabilities to develop forecasts, budgets, and growth plans aligned with company objectives.

- Relevant experience of 8-10 years in shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding, preferably in a commercial or business development role.
- Robust communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and familiarity with logistics or ERP systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Logistics, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification or relevant certifications are an advantage.
