An HR Assistant is a key role in the Human Resources department responsible for assisting in managing various HR functions, ensuring compliance, and contributing to a positive workplace culture. The position requires strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Job Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Staffing :
- Job Posting :Manage and post job descriptions on various platforms (e.g., job boards, company websites, social media).
- Candidate Sourcing and Screening: Review resumes to match candidates with job requirements. Conduct initial screenings to assess qualifications and cultural fit.
- Interview Coordination and Support:
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Prepare interview questions and evaluation forms as per instructions.
- Gather feedback from interviewers and take instructions.
- Recruitment Database Management :
- Maintain a database of potential candidates for future hiring needs.
- Offer Management and Onboarding :
- Negotiate job offers and manage salary discussions.
- Conduct onboarding as and when required.
- Maintain communication with new hires to enhance their experience.
- Compliance & Reporting :
- Maintain employee records and ensure data confidentiality.
- HR best practices to ensure compliance.
- Ensure adherence to company policies.
- Provide regular updates to the reporting manager regarding recruitment.
- Workplace Culture & Engagement
- Organize team-building activities and employee engagement programs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace environment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional HR certifications are a plus.
- Relevant experience in HR (3+ years).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- High level of discretion and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Should be well versed in Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Drive, and Microsoft Office.
