Role:Senior Quality Engineer II

Position Summary:

At Marriott International, we are seeking a highly engaged and motivated Software Quality Engineer to join our fast-paced and high-performing application development team. In this role, the candidate will ensure the delivery of high-quality Salesforce applications and integrations through comprehensive testing strategies, both manual and automated. The engineer will work closely with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders in an Agile environment to validate functionality, performance, and data integrity across the Salesforce ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for Salesforceapplications




- Collaborate with development teams to understand business requirements andtechnical implementations.
- Implement test automation frameworks and integrate automated tests into CI/CDpipelines.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and UAT testing across multipleSalesforce environments.
- Analyze test results, log defects, and drive issues to resolution in coordination withengineering teams
- Ensure adherence to testing best practices, quality metrics, and compliance standards.
- Work in an Agile / Scrum setting and actively participate in sprint planning,stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Qualifications:

- 6+ years of experience in Quality Engineering with at least 4 years focused onSalesforce platformtesting.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools likePlaywright,Selenium,TOSCA toensure the stability of software releases.
- Ability to transform business test cases into automated test coverage and to analyze technical and non-technical requirements and translate them into both manual and automatable scenarios
- Ability to detect and report software defects, and work with developers to resolve issues
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JiraandZephyr.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, processes, and test documentation.
- Strong communication skills to assist other team members with test design, test approach, testing, story requirement clarification and providing feedback to the development team.

Nice to Have:

- Performance or security testing experience for Salesforce applications.

Education:

- Graduate degree in Computer Science or Engineering
