Position Summary

We’re seeking a agile Academic Counselor to join our academic support team. In this role, you will guide students along their educational journey—helping them choose the right programs, monitor their academic progress, and ensure they receive holistic support to thrive personally and professionally.

Key Responsibilities1. Student Academic Guidance
- Provide personalized one-on-one counseling to students on program selection, academic performance, and career trajectories.
- Help students understand curriculum paths, specialization areas, and project options in fashion and design fields.

2. Progress Monitoring & Intervention




- Track student performance and identify those needing additional support—whether academically or emotionally.
- Collaborate with faculty members to develop targeted support plans such as tutoring, workshops, or remedial sessions.

3. Career Planning & Internships
- Advise students on industry pathways—internships, placements, and portfolio development.
- Coordinate with career services or industry partners to create opportunities aligned with students’ interests and strengths.

4. Communication & Stakeholder Coordination
- Maintain clear communication with students, parents (when needed), and faculty regarding academic progress and support strategies.
- Organize orientation sessions, webinars, or group counseling workshops focused on time management, study strategies, or navigating creative programs.

5. Administrative & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions, student concerns, and action plans.
