A Resident Medical Officer (RMO) is a healthcare professional responsible for providing medical care to patients in a hospital setting
- They work under the supervision of a senior physician and are responsible for the initial assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients
- The RMO is responsible for documenting patient information, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and managing patient care plans
- In addition, they must communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals, and be able to make decisions in emergency situations
- A RMO must have a medical degree, be licensed to practice medicine, and have completed a period of supervised clinical training
- Positive organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure, are also important qualities for this role
- Follow the rules and regulations,
policy SOPs as laid down by the hospital.
- Attending the patients on first call before admission and immediately after admission.
- Writing Case history
- Taking rounds initially and either consultants.
- Carry out orders of the consultants.
- Supervise the nurses work.
- Ensuring treatment of patients.
- Preparing discharge summaries
- To attend the patient before the patient is seen by the consultant.
- To attend the patient before the consultant is called.
Salary: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
