Job Title: Purchase Executive (Diploma - Electrical)

Job Summary

The Purchase Executive will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing electrical materials, components, and equipment as per project and production requirements. This role ensures timely procurement, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Material Procurement:
- Identify and source electrical items such as cables, wires, switchgears, motors, panels, and other related components.
- Prepare purchase orders based on material requirement planning (MRP).
- Vendor Management:
- Develop and maintain relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Evaluate vendor performance (price, quality, delivery timeline).
- Negotiate rates and payment terms to ensure cost efficiency.
- Inventory Coordination:
- Work closely with stores and production teams to maintain optimum stock levels.
- Track and follow up on pending deliveries to avoid material shortages.
- Cost & Quality Control:




- Ensure materials meet technical specifications and quality standards.
- Compare quotations and prepare cost analysis before finalizing purchases.
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain accurate purchase records, invoices, GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), and vendor data.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and statutory regulations.
- Coordination:
- Collaborate with project, production, and accounts teams for seamless operations.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting material costs.
