Job Title: Driver

Job Summary: As a driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and/or passengers safely and efficiently. You will adhere to all traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record. Your role may involve loading and unloading cargo, ensuring the vehicle is properly maintained, and providing excellent customer service when dealing with passengers or clients.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of vehicles, including cars, vans, trucks, or buses.
- Transport passengers or goods between locations according to a schedule or as directed.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and secure transport.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations, including maintaining a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks.
- Report any mechanical issues or accidents to management promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service, especially when interacting with passengers or clients.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries or trips, including mileage logs.

Requirements:




- Proven experience as a driver or relevant position.
- A valid driver's license appropriate for the type of vehicle being driven.
- Excellent driving record with no traffic violations.
- Ability to operate and maintain vehicles in a variety of weather and traffic conditions.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items, if required.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications relevant to driving certain vehicles (e.g., CDL for commercial drivers).
- Experience with navigation systems and GPS devices.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance.

Working Conditions:
- Typically involves long hours on the road, varying by employer and type of driving (e.g., local routes vs. long-haul trips).
- May require working evenings, weekends, or holidays depending on the employer’s needs.
