The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing all costs related to construction projects, ensuring that projects are completed within budgetary constraints. They work closely with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to provide accurate cost estimates, monitor project finances, and implement cost-saving measures
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and overhead costs.
- Tendering Process: Prepare tender documents, evaluate bids from contractors, and make recommendations to the client on the selection of contractors
