‍ About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with hands-on experience in Java (Spring Boot) or .NET Core, and solid practical knowledge of DevOps practices, especially in Azure and GitHub Actions environments.

You will be part of a distributed, cross-functional team working on scalable, high-performance backend services. The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player who actively participates in Scrum ceremonies, takes ownership of on-call rotations, and brings a mindset of continuous improvement to both code and team practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java (Spring Boot) or .NET Core.

-

Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.

-

Participate in on-call rotations to support production systems and deployments.

-

Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Software Engineers, and Frontend Developers.

-

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices.

-

Contribute to and improve team workflows through Agile/Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning,



retrospectives).

-

Work in a DevOps culture with a strong focus on build, deploy, monitor, and operate.

✅ Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in backend development with Java (Spring Boot) or .NET Core.

-

Strong expertise with Azure Cloud Services and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

-

Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.

-

Hands-on experience with Docker; familiarity with Kubernetes is a plus.

Working knowledge of DevOps principles, including monitoring, observability, and operational support.

Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (written & spoken).

Ability to thrive in remote and international team environments.

Willingness to handle on-call support and participate in deployment operations.

Nice to Have (Preferred Skills):

Frontend development experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js.

Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Bicep.

Familiarity with observability tools like Grafana, Azure Monitor, Prometheus.

Agile certifications or hands-on experience in structured Agile/Scrum teams.

Previous experience working with European clients or distributed international teams.
