We are seeking an experienced Java Lead to drive backend development and lead technical initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong programming expertise, hands-on experience with cloud platforms, and the ability to guide teams in building scalable, high-performance applications. This role involves both technical leadership and active contribution to development, ensuring best practices and high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
⢠Lead and mentor development teams, ensuring high-quality code and timely delivery
⢠Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and applications
⢠Work with SQL databases for efficient data management and processing
⢠Leverage GCP for application deployment, scaling, and performance optimization
⢠Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical solutions
⢠Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and system design principles
⢠Participate in and drive code reviews to maintain code quality
⢠Support development of ETL processes and data pipelines where required
Key Skills & Qualifications
⢠Strong programming skills in at least one: Java, C++, or Python
⢠Proficiency in SQL and database management
⢠Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
⢠Experience in leading teams and driving technical initiatives
⢠Strong understanding of backend system design and development
⢠Experience delivering production-grade applications
⢠Familiarity with ETL processes and data pipelines (good to have)
⢠Experience with version control systems and code review practices
⢠Solid problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
