We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Cashier (Male) in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. Key Responsibilities


- Handle daily cash transactions accurately.

- Operate billing and POS systems efficiently.

- Collect payments through cash, card, and digital modes.

- Maintain daily cash balance and reconcile collections.

- Issue invoices and receipts to customers.

- Assist customers with billing -related queries.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the billing counter.

- Coordinate with store staff to ensure smooth operations.


Required Skills

- Cash handling and billing accuracy.

- Experience using POS billing software.





- Basic accounting and cash reconciliation.

- Customer service and communication skills.

- Numerical accuracy and attention to detail.


Preferred Skills

- Experience in sweets, bakery, or retail stores.

- Knowledge of UPI and digital payment systems.

- Ability to work long shifts.


Work Experience Requirements


Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a cashier in a retail, supermarket, bakery, or food outlet. Experience in handling billing software and daily cash reconciliation is preferred.

Education

- Minimum: Higher Secondary (12th Pass) (Typical)

- Preferred: Any Degree (Typical)

- Additional: Basic Computer Knowledge
