We are looking for a reliable and organized Storekeeper to manage our daily inventory operations. You will be responsible for keeping our stockroom organized, safely handling incoming goods, and ensuring customers receive the correct products promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
Stock Handling: Safely load, unload, and organize daily shipments (requires the physical ability to lift and move heavy tubular and automotive batteries).
Customer Dispatch: Accurately pick products from the inventory and hand them over to customers or delivery drivers.
Inventory Tracking: Maintain precise daily records of all incoming and outgoing stock.
Stock Maintenance: Conduct daily physical counts to ensure recorded numbers match actual godown inventory.
Workspace Upkeep: Keep the storage and dispatch areas clean, safe, and organized.
Requirements:
Ability to handle physically demanding work, specifically lifting heavy items safely.
Basic math and record-keeping skills.
Solid attention to detail to ensure accurate stock counts and order fulfillment.
Prior experience in a warehouse, hardware, or electronics retail environment is a plus.
