Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant with a strong background in Manual Testing to join our energetic team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in manual testing methodologies and will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications to identify defects and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide feedback on testability.
- Document and report defects, track their status, and verify fixes.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide input on testability and quality aspects.
- Mentor junior team members in testing best practices and methodologies.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Mandatory Skills
- Proven experience in Manual Testing with a strong understanding of testing methodologies.
- Ability to create detailed test plans and test cases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of automation testing tools is a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in Manual Testing.
- Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
