Role Description

Investigate and resolve production defects across portal, workflow, and batch job flows Implement feature enhancements for data operations teams (submittals, furnisher monitoring, Rent Bureau, SmartLoad) Add and extend unit/integration ss for high-risk helpers and controllers Participate in security remediation, dependency upgrades, and Sonar findings Document non-obvious business rules Collaborate with operations, QA, and product owners in a multi-environment release process

5+ years qualified software development experience Strong C and ASP.NET Core (MVC, Razor views, dependency injection, middleware pipeline) Experience with layered architectures (web business data access) Solid SQL skills; comfortable writing and tuning queries against MySQL (Aurora) Experience building and maintaining REST API integrations (HTTP clients, JWT/auth tokens, error handling) Proficiency with Git, code review, and working in a shared enterprise repo Web & UI Razor/MVC development (controllers, partial views, view components, session/temp data)



JavaScript and Bootstrap for form-heavy operational UIs Understanding of CSRF, HSTS, secure cookies, and session hardening Data & integration Experience with multiple database connections and schema-bound business logic Familiarity with batch/background job patterns (Hangfire or equivalent) File upload/download at scale (large multipart uploads, shared storage, virus scanning patterns) Exposure to enterprise auth: SSO/OIDC (Okta or similar), LDAP/Active Directory group claims

Experience with AWS: S3, Secrets Manager, RDS Aurora, EFS/shared volumes Hangfire with MySQL storage Experience modernizing legacy monoliths: incremental refactors, extracting services, reducing god-classes SonarQube/SonarLint quality gates Familiarity with EngageAPI or sibling systems in the same product family PgpCore/OpenPGP file encryption and FluentFTP/SFTP file exchange
