Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Modeler / Data Designer to lead the design, development, and governance of enterprise data models with a solid focus on Risk Data Management. The ideal candidate will translate complex business, risk, and regulatory requirements into scalable conceptual, logical, and physical data models while enabling enterprise reporting through SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and Power BI.
This role requires deep expertise in enterprise data modeling, risk data domains, regulatory reporting, and Microsoft BI technologies to support strategic decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Data Modeling
Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical enterprise data models across data warehouses, data marts, and analytical platforms.
Develop scalable dimensional models (Star & Snowflake Schemas)



and normalized data structures to support enterprise analytics and reporting.
Define and enforce enterprise data modeling standards, metadata management, naming conventions, and documentation.
Perform data profiling, source-to-target mapping, impact analysis, and data validation.
Collaborate with Data Architects, ETL Developers, Data Engineers, and Business Analysts to ensure accurate implementation of data models.

Risk Data Management
Design enterprise data models supporting Credit Risk, Market Risk, Operational Risk, and Liquidity Risk domains.
Develop fit-for-purpose data structures supporting regulatory reporting requirements including Basel III/IV, IFRS 9, BCBS 239, and Central Bank of UAE reporting.
Partner with Risk, Finance, and Compliance teams to ensure high-quality, governed, and traceable risk data.
Support enterprise Data Governance initiatives including data lineage, business glossaries, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
