About the Role:
Are you passionate about advancing the future of space technology through cutting-edge battery innovation? We are looking for an experienced Staff Engineer – Lithium-Ion Battery Chemistry to lead the development and qualification of high-reliability lithium-ion battery systems for spacecraft and satellite applications.
In this role, you will drive the chemistry and electrochemical evaluation of lithium-ion cells, lead life-cycle testing, degradation analysis, and failure investigations, and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver mission-critical energy storage solutions. You'll play a key role in defining qualification strategies, improving battery reliability, and ensuring compliance with international aerospace standards while mentoring engineers and influencing technical decisions throughout the product lifecycle.
