Role Summary
Owns and Fully Understands the techno-commercial strategy behind RE-RTC, FDRE and hybrid (BESS focussed) projects. The candidate shall be instrumental and pivotal in shaping the technical configuration meeting the RTC requirement. The configuration shall be contingent upon being techno-commercially viable and gives leadership a clear, defensible view of choices made.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Strategy ownership — Lead the techno-commercial case, configuration choice, risk pricing and the final techno-commercial recommendation.



Independently evaluate the options available and proposed by engineering teams.
Configuration trade-offs — Work with engineering to size solar, BESS and wind shares against the availability and CUF targets. Find the lowest-cost mix that still clears the technical bar.
Energy modelling — Build and stress-test bid energy models. Understanding and experience of HOMER, PLEXOS and other such energy modelling industry-standard software platforms.
RE Firming Models— Evaluate requirements for Solar RTC, FDRE, peak-power and firm-supply options. Decode various such models based on availability obligations, penalties, off-take terms and convert into commercial assumptions.
Financial understanding — Explicit understanding of how various financial parameters affect the decision - capex, opex, tariff, IRR, DSCR — across CUF, degradation, tariff and interest-rate scenarios.
