To ensure implementation and maintenance of Environment, Health & Safety systems in the organization by complying with statutory requirements, company safety standards, and safe work practices to achieve an accident-free and environmentally sustainable workplace.
Job Description / Responsibilities
Implement and monitor workplace safety procedures and secure operating practices.
Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
Identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions and initiate corrective actions.
Coordinate health checkups and medical surveillance programs.
Monitor workplace exposure to noise, dust, fumes, chemicals, and ergonomic hazards.
Conduct awareness programs on occupational health and wellness.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and pollution control norms.
Monitor waste management, hazardous waste handling, and disposal activities.
Conduct EHS induction and periodic safety training for employees and contractors.
Organize mock drills, toolbox talks, and safety campaigns.
AUTHORITY
Authority to conduct safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
Authority to recommend corrective and preventive actions for identified hazards.
Authority to coordinate emergency response and evacuation during emergencies.
JOB SPECIFICATION / COMPETENCY
Qualification
BE/Diploma/B. Tech or any relevant field
Experience
2–4 years (Preferably in aerospace or precision manufacturing)
