Role Overview
You'll be hands-on with securing Deccan AI's cloud infrastructure — from IAM policies to vulnerability management to compliance readiness. You'll work across engineering teams to bake security into the development lifecycle.




Responsibilities
Configure and audit IAM roles, policies, and access controls
Implement and monitor cloud security tooling (CSPM, CWPP, SIEM)
Run vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation
Support compliance efforts (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR as applicable)
Investigate and respond to security incidents/alerts
Harden cloud configurations against misconfigurations
Partner with DevOps/Cloud Engineering to embed security into CI/CD (DevSecOps)
Maintain security documentation and runbooks
Requirements
3+ years of experience in cloud security or security engineering
Solid knowledge of IAM, encryption, and network security in cloud environments
Experience with security tools (e.g., Wiz, Prisma Cloud, AWS Security Hub, Splunk)
Understanding of common compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001)
Familiarity with scripting (Python) for automation of security tasks
