Role & Responsibilities

Lead end to end mechanical design of ROVs, AUVs, & asset inspection robotic systems.
Design subsea pressure housings for electronics & sensors, Familiar with Pressure vessel design as per (BPVC), Material selection, thickness calculations, FEA Analysis of pressure vessels
Design of underwater Propulsion System components, Sizing and Selection of Motors, bearings, Design of motor housings, shafts, bearing housing
Develop structural designs considering static, agile, thrust loads, vibration, fatigue and hydrodynamic effects. Knowledge of hydrodynamics and CFD. Conversant with FEA/CFD tools
Design sealing & penetrator interfaces — O-ring grooves,
