Key Responsibilities
AI-Augmented Engineering
Build backend systems using AI copilots like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and ChatGPT
Use AI for code generation, refactoring, test case generation, performance tuning, and documentation
Apply prompt engineering and context engineering to produce production-grade output
Continuously experiment with AI tooling to improve development velocity
Core Backend Engineering
Design and develop scalable Java backend service
Architect Microservices using Spring Boot
Implement REST APIs, transaction management, and concurrency handling
Work with relational databases and JPA/Hibernate
Contribute to scalable, cloud-ready system
AI-Aware System Design
Design systems that can integrate with AI agent
Think in automation layer
Build APIs that are AI-consumable
Collaborate in building AI-powered enterprise workflow
Required Qualification
4-8 years of qualified experience in Java backend development
Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
Hands-on experience with REST API design and implementation
Working knowledge of relational databases, JPA/Hibernate, and SQ
Active daily usage of AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, or similar
Understanding of prompt engineering and context engineering principle
Experience with transaction management and concurrency handling
Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization
Preferred Skills
Experience building AI-integrated or AI-consumable API
Knowledge of LLM capabilities and limitation
