Designation: Assistant Manager - Taxation

Position Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional to join our Finance team as an Assistant Manager – Taxation. The role is primarily responsible for managing tax audits, ensuring GST and TDS compliance, performing statutory reconciliations, and supporting month-end and year-end financial closing activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, a sound understanding of taxation and accounting principles, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage statutory, tax, and internal audits, ensuring timely resolution of audit queries and closure of audit requirements.
Prepare and file monthly GST returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B, along with reconciliation of Input Tax Credit (ITC) with GSTR-2B.
Prepare and file annual GST returns, including GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C.
Perform revenue reconciliations with GST returns and Form 26AS to ensure accurate statutory reporting.




Carry out monthly and annual reconciliations of statutory liabilities, including GST and TDS.
Support month-end and year-end financial closing by preparing reconciliations, schedules, and other supporting documentation.
Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, statutory regulations, accounting standards, and internal control procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address compliance, accounting, and taxation-related queries.
Qualifications and Experience:
CA Inter with relevant post-qualification experience (preferred).
Robust knowledge of GST, TDS, statutory compliances, and financial accounting.
Hands-on experience in managing statutory, tax, and internal audits.
Good understanding of financial reconciliations, month-end, and year-end closing processes.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems; experience with SAP will be an added advantage.
