Key Responsibilities
Off-Page SEO (Primary Focus — 70% of role)
• Plan and execute guest posting campaigns on relevant, authoritative websites
• Build high-quality backlinks through ethical, white-hat link-building techniques
• Conduct competitor backlink analysis to identify current link opportunities
• Create and manage business listings and directory submissions
• Execute social bookmarking, profile creation, and image/PDF submission activities
• Build and maintain local citations to support local SEO visibility
• Identify and execute broken link building opportunities
• Conduct outreach and email outreach to webmasters, bloggers, and publishers for link placements
• Implement a balanced anchor text strategy aligned with SEO best practices
• Identify and disavow toxic or low-quality backlinks
• Perform link quality analysis to ensure all acquired links meet quality standards
• Stay updated on Google's webmaster guidelines and follow white-hat SEO practices at all times
• Support basic Digital PR activities, including outreach for brand mentions and coverage
On-Page SEO (Supporting Responsibility)
• Optimize meta titles and meta descriptions for target pages
• Review and improve heading structure (H1–H6) for clarity and keyword relevance
• Support URL optimization and internal linking improvements
• Add and optimize image alt tags
• Assist with keyword placement and on-page content optimization
• Apply basic understanding of schema markup where required
Technical SEO Basics (Supporting Responsibility)
• Assist in monitoring XML sitemaps and robots.txt files
• Support implementation and review of canonical tags
• Identify and report crawl errors and indexing issues via Google Search Console
• Monitor basic Core Web Vitals and flag performance concerns
• Identify and report broken links and incorrect 301/302 redirects
• Support basic checks for mobile-friendliness and page speed
