Requirements
5+ years of professional work experience
Technical Skills: You are proficient in programming languages such as Python/Java, SQL, Pig Script and have 6+ years of experience with big data frameworks like Spark, Hadoop or Kafka.
You excel in Apache Spark/PySpark fundamentals.
You excel in using stream and batch processing frameworks and data visualization tools, and are skilled in implementing data governance practices.
Data Engineering Expertise: You have advanced skills in designing and implementing data pipelines, ensuring data quality and integrity.
AI Tools Usage: You have experience with AI development tools such as Cursor, Copilot, and Claude.
Problem-Solving Ability: You possess strong analytical skills and a knack for solving complex data challenges using innovative approaches.
Job responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines that handle both batch and real-time data ingestion.
Integrate various data sources (databases, APIs, third-party data)
into Snowflake and other data systems.
Work closely with data scientists and analysts to ensure data availability, quality, and performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipeline performance, scalability, and integrity.
Optimize data processes for speed, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Ensure data governance and security best practices are implemented.
