About the Role:
KPIT Technologies is looking for an experienced Project Manager / Project Lead with 7 to 12 years of hands-on experience in managing software development projects within the automotive domain. You will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timelines, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage software development teams for projects within the automotive domain.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, scope, and requirements.
- Develop project plans, timelines , and allocate resources effectively for successful project delivery.
- Monitor project progress and ensure projects are completed within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Track project metrics (cost, defects, efforts) and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Establish and manage project scope changes and acceptance procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure quality assurance processes are followed to deliver defect-free solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities and generate leads for additional projects.
Required Skills:
7 to 12 years of experience in project management within the automotive domain
Proven track record in project planning, execution, and resource management
Client-facing experience and ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders
Solid understanding of SDLC and software development processes
Expertise in scope management, metrics reporting , and quality control
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and ensure timely delivery of solutions
