Key Responsibilities
- Examine diamonds using magnification tools, such as loupes and microscopes , to assess their physical characteristics and quality.
- Evaluate diamonds based on the Four Cs —Cut, Color, Clarity,



and Carat Weight —ensuring accurate classification and grading.
- Utilize specialized grading equipment , including spectrometers, digital calipers, and lighting tools, to verify authenticity and detect enhancements .
- Document grading results and create certification reports , maintaining detailed records that serve as official references for buyers and sellers.
- Advise clients on diamond quality and market value , providing expert guidance to jewelers, manufacturers, and customers making purchasing decisions.
