As a Vendor Management Specialist, you will be instrumental in overseeing the complete lifecycle of our vendor relationships. This includes identifying, evaluating, and onboarding suppliers, negotiating contracts, monitoring performance, and fostering collaborations that align with our strategic objectives. Your expertise will directly contribute to the quality of our products, efficiency of our operations, and overall business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with existing and new vendors, fostering long-term partnerships.
- Source, evaluate, and select recent vendors based on comprehensive criteria including quality, cost-effectiveness, reliability, and ethical practices.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to secure favorable agreements and optimize value for the company.
- Monitor and assess vendor performance against agreed-upon KPIs, SLAs, and quality standards (e.g., delivery timelines, product quality, service levels).




- Conduct regular vendor reviews and feedback sessions to drive continuous improvement and address any performance gaps.
- Ensure vendor compliance with company policies, industry regulations, security standards, and contractual obligations.
- Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes for vendors, ensuring smooth transitions and proper documentation.
- Resolve vendor-related issues, disputes, or escalations promptly and professionally.
- Identify opportunities for vendor consolidation, optimization, or innovation to enhance efficiency and cost savings.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments such as Procurement, Production, Retail Operations, Marketing, and IT to align vendor strategies with business needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records, contracts, and documentation .
