Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior Diamond Lab technicians and graders in their daily tasks.
- Learn and apply the basics of diamond characteristics, including the 4Cs (Carat, Cut, Color, Clarity).
- Handle, sort, and organize diamonds and precious stones with extreme care and precision.
- Familiarize yourself with and assist in the operation of specialized lab equipment, such as microscopes and other analytical tools.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work setting within the Diamond Lab.
- Accurately record and document observations and data as required.
- Adhere strictly to all company standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety regulations, and security protocols.
- Actively participate in all training and development programs provided by the company to enhance knowledge and skills in gemology.
