Roles and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior graders to develop accurate reports on stone grades and recommendations for pricing.
- Analyze the characteristics of each stone to determine its carat weight, cut, color, clarity, and overall quality.
- Use specialized equipment such as loupes, microscopes, and gem scopes to inspect stones for inclusions, blemishes, and other defects.
- Conduct thorough examinations of diamonds and jewelry pieces to determine their quality, authenticity, and value.
