Prepare, cook, and plate continental dishes (soups, salads, pastas, grills, sandwiches, sauces, and continental mains) to consistent quality and presentation standards

Plan and design menu items in coordination with the Executive Chef, including seasonal and promotional specials

Ensure freshness and quality of raw materials; conduct daily checks on stock and ingredient quality

Maintain hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards (FSSAI compliance) across the kitchen station

Supervise and train commis chefs / kitchen helpers assigned to the continental section

Coordinate with the purchase/store team for indenting and stock requisition

Control food cost and portion sizes to minimize wastage

Maintain kitchen equipment in proper working condition and report maintenance needs

Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment during service hours, especially peak load

Maintain records of daily production, wastage, and stock usage

Follow standard recipes (SOPs) and ensure uniformity across shifts
