Job Title: IPDRG Medical Coder

Experience: 2 to 4 Years

Job Responsibilities

Review inpatient medical records and assign accurate ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and MS-DRG codes.

Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with official coding guidelines and client requirements.

Analyze clinical documentation and identify documentation gaps.

Raise physician queries whenever clarification is required.

Meet quality, productivity, and turnaround time targets.

Participate in coding audits and implement audit feedback.

Maintain compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, or a related healthcare discipline.

CCS (Certified Coding Specialist) certification is mandatory.

2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in IPDRG/Inpatient Medical Coding.

Solid knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, MS-DRG methodology, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.

Good analytical and communication skills.
