Job Title Senior Auto ElectricianOverview The Senior Auto Electrician is responsible for diagnosing repairing and maintaining complex electrical systems in light and heavy vehicles This role requires advanced technical skills leadership ability and hands-on experience with modern automotive diagnostic tools and electronic control systems Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair electrical faults in vehicles including wiring ignition lighting charging starting and electronic control systems Perform advanced diagnostics using scan tools oscilloscopes and specialized testing equipment Install maintain and repair vehicle accessories such as GPS units radios alarms and tracking systems Troubleshoot and repair CAN bus ECU BCM and other computer-controlled systems Oversee and quality-check electrical work performed by junior electricians or apprentices Interpret wiring diagrams technical manuals and manufacturer specifications Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical and electronic vehicle components Ensure all electrical work meets safety standards and regulatory requirements Document repairs parts used diagnostic results and recommended solutions Liaise with service advisors supervisors and customers to explain findings and repairs Required Skills Qualifications Trade qualification as an Auto Electrician certificate diploma or equivalent Minimum 5-7 years of experience in automotive electrical diagnostics and repair Strong knowledge of modern vehicle electronics sensors and ECU systems Ability to use advanced automotive diagnostic equipment Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding abilities Ability to train and mentor junior staff Strong communication and documentation skills Understanding of workplace safety and electrical safety standards Preferred Qualifications Experience with hybrid or EV systems OEM training or certifications Toyota Ford Mercedes-Benz etc Heavy vehicle mining equipment or fleet maintenance experience Knowledge of telematics installations and diagnostics Job Type Full-time Pay 35 000 00 - 45 000 00 per month Advantages Provident Fund Work Location In person
