Job description Job Title Plumbing Fire Fighting Tendering Engineer Experience Required 6-10 Years Department Tendering Estimation Location Mumbai Notice period Immediate joiner Job Summary The Plumbing Fire Fighting Tendering Engineer is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates technical proposals and tender documents for plumbing firefighting and related MEP works in infrastructure commercial residential and industrial projects Key Responsibilities 1 Tendering Estimation Study and analyze tender documents drawings BOQs specifications and scope of work Prepare cost estimates rate analysis quantity take-offs and pricing sheets Evaluate material labour subcontractor and equipment costs Prepare technical and commercial proposals according to client requirements Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to finalize competitive quotations 2 Plumbing System Expertise Strong knowledge of water supply drainage sewage STP ETP rainwater harvesting and pumping systems Review layouts schematics P IDs and plumbing drawings Suggest technical solutions and value engineering options 3 Fire Fighting System Expertise Knowledge of hydrant systems sprinkler systems pump rooms fire alarm integration and suppression systems Understanding of NFPA NBC IS codes and local fire norms Evaluate firefighting drawings system calculations and equipment selections 4 Coordination Communication Interact with consultants contractors suppliers and internal teams for clarifications Participate in pre-bid and post-bid meetings Support project teams during techno-commercial evaluations 5 Documentation Reporting Prepare tender summaries comparison sheets and cost breakup reports Maintain organized documentation for all tender-related activities Ensure timely submission of bids before deadlines Key Skills Required Strong knowledge of Plumbing Fire Fighting design and estimation Expertise in BOQ preparation rate analysis and tender documentation Good understanding of MEP codes and standards NFPA NBC IS Codes Proficiency in AutoCAD Excel MS Office and estimation software Strong analytical negotiation and coordination skills Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple tenders Qualifications Degree in Mechanical Engineering Civil Engineering or relevant field 5-10 years of experience in Plumbing Fire Fighting tendering estimation or design Job Type Full-time Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Flexible schedule Internet reimbursement Leave encashment Provident Fund Job Type Full-time Pay 60 000 00 - 80 000 00 per month Perks Cell phone reimbursement Commuter assistance Flexible schedule Internet reimbursement Leave encashment Provident Fund Work Location In person
