The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet all functional safety standards and regulations This role involves leading safety analysis developing safety concepts and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement safety measures throughout the product lifecycle Key Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of functional safety processes in accordance with ISO 26262 or relevant standards Conduct safety analysis including Hazard and Risk Analysis HARA Failure Modes and Effects Analysis FMEA and Fault Tree Analysis FTA Develop and maintain safety plans safety requirements and safety cases Ensure ASPICE compliance throughout the product development lifecycle Collaborate with design engineering and testing teams to integrate safety and ASPICE requirements into product development Perform safety verification and validation activities including safety audits and assessments Provide training and support to team members on ASPICE and functional safety standards and practices Liaise with customers suppliers and regulatory bodies regarding safety and ASPICE related matters Qualifications Bachelor s or Master s degree in Engineering Computer Science or a related field A minimum of 9 years of experience in functional safety preferably in the automotive or related industry In-depth knowledge of ISO 26262 ASPICE and other relevant safety standards Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team workplace and manage multiple projects simultaneously Certification in functional safety e g TUV Functional Safety Engineer is a plus Knowledge of Cybersecurity ISO 21434 is a plus Come join our global inclusive diverse team Our purpose is to improve the quality of life of everyone we touch through our innovative motion systems We are a truly global team bound together by our shared values Our culture is built on the diversity knowledge skills creativity and talents that each employee brings to the company Our people are our company s most valuable asset We are committed to providing an inclusive diverse and equitable workplace where employees of different backgrounds feel valued and respected regardless of their age gender race ethnicity or religious background We are committed to inspiring our employees to grow act with ownership and find fulfilment and meaning in the work they do
