Job Title Accountant Location Pune Working days Monday to Saturday Weekly Off Sundays Shift time 10 30 am to 7 00 pm Company Overview GOVARDHAN OVERSEAS is a FMCG company committed to change India s snacking habits make nutritional food affordable and accessible to all and ensure our presence worldwide We are dedicated to make India s snacking habits healthier Website https jbcostore co in Mail hr jbcostore co in Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant with 1-2 years of experience to join our finance team The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting practice excellent attention to detail and expertise in using Tally software for financial management This role will involve managing daily accounting tasks maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations Key Responsibilities Maintain Financial Records Accurately record and maintain all financial transactions including invoices receipts and payments using Tally software Bookkeeping Handle daily bookkeeping tasks including data entry ledger maintenance and reconciliation of accounts Accounts Payable Receivable Manage accounts payable and receivable processes ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections Bank Reconciliation Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data Tax Compliance Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns ensuring compliance with local tax laws and regulations Financial Reporting Prepare and present financial reports including balance sheets profit and loss statements and cash flow statements Audit Support Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations for financial transactions Budgeting Forecasting Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting process by providing accurate financial data and analysis Process Improvement Identify and recommend improvements to existing accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy Qualifications Education Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field Experience 1-2 years of hands-on experience in accounting or finance roles in FMCG industry will be preferred Wholesale Retail Food Product Skills Tally Expertise Proficient in using Tally ERP for accounting and financial management Technical Skills Strong knowledge of accounting principles financial reporting and tax regulations Attention to Detail Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data Analytical Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Communication Excellent verbal and written communication skills Team Player Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with other departments Time Management Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines Additional Information Market-competitive salary commensurate with experience Comprehensive benefits package with a personal laptop or desktop Mobile phone and a SIM card Job Type Full-time Pay 15 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month Education Bachelor s Required Experience Accounting 1 year Required Tally 1 year Required total work 1 year Required Work Location In person
