About ApplyAZ

ApplyAZ helps international students access English-taught programs at public universities in Italy and supports eligible students throughout the admission, scholarship, visa, and arrival process.

We are looking for an experienced Visa Processing Officer who can independently manage Italian student visa applications for students applying from India. This is a hands-on processing role requiring strong document knowledge, accuracy, organization, and proactive student communication.

What You’ll Do

- Conduct a complete initial review of each student’s profile.
- Provide a personalized visa checklist and document plan from Day 1.
- Prepare, review, and quality-check visa application files before submission.
- Review financial documents, bank statements, education loans, sponsorship evidence, income documents, and source-of-funds explanations.
- Review admission, Universitaly, CIMEA or Declaration of Value, accommodation, insurance, travel, academic, and identity documents where applicable.
- Check that all documents are accurate, consistent, complete, properly translated, legalized, and formatted where required.
- Prepare or review visa cover letters, sponsorship letters, explanations, and supporting statements.
- Guide students through each stage in clear and reassuring language.
- Support students with applicable VFS Global appointment and submission procedures.
- Prepare students for visa interviews or additional document requests.
- Track every active case, deadline, appointment, missing document, and required follow-up.
- Proactively update students so they never need to chase the team for information.
- Maintain clean and accurate records in ApplyAZ’s internal system.
- Stay updated on Italian consular requirements,



jurisdictions, and VFS procedures across India.
- Identify weaknesses or inconsistencies early and provide practical solutions.
- Handle urgent deficiencies, delays, and complications with accountability and speed.

What We’re Looking For
- At least two years of hands-on student visa processing or overseas education experience.
- Direct experience managing Italian student visa applications from India is strongly preferred.
- Candidates with robust German or other European student visa experience may also be considered.
- Practical knowledge of Italian consular jurisdictions and VFS Global procedures in India.
- Strong understanding of financial, sponsorship, accommodation, insurance, and academic documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal English.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify document inconsistencies.
- Ability to manage multiple active cases and deadlines independently.
- Professional, patient, and confident communication with students and families.
- Experience using CRM or case-management systems.
- Reliable computer, internet connection, and remote working environment.
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Italian language ability is an advantage, but not required.

A specific visa-advisor certification is not required. Proven experience, document knowledge, successful case handling, and the ability to take full ownership are more important.
