The Art Educator is responsible for designing and delivering engaging art instruction that fosters creativity critical thinking and artistic skill development This role involves teaching art techniques art history and visual literacy while creating an inclusive and inspiring learning environment for diverse learners Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver age-appropriate art lessons aligned with curriculum standards or program goals Teach a variety of media and techniques e g drawing painting sculpture mixed media digital art Encourage creativity self-expression and critical analysis of artwork Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback Maintain a safe organized and well-supplied classroom or studio environment Integrate art history cultural context and contemporary art practices into lessons Collaborate with colleagues administrators or community partners Organize and support exhibitions showcases or student art displays Manage classroom behavior and promote respectful inclusive learning Stay current with best practices in art education and instructional methods Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Art Education Fine Arts or a related field Master s preferred for some institutions Teaching certification Demonstrated proficiency in multiple art media and techniques Experience teaching students of varying ages and abilities Strong communication organizational and interpersonal skills Passion for arts education and student development Job Type Full-time Pay 20 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Perks Food provided Work Location In person
