Posted Date 21 Jul 2025 Function Business Area Reliance Foundation Location Vishakhapatnam Job Responsibilities Plan and Preparedness - Contingency Plan Disaster Risk Reduction Disaster Mitigation Plan Build capacities of NGOs CBOs Youths and other key stakeholders on Disaster preparedness Disaster Mitigation Carry out disaster risk assessment Hazard Risk Vulnerability Assessment HRVA in disaster hotspots Develop plan for reducing the damage caused by natural hazards such as floods droughts and cyclones Identify vulnerable location and mobilise community in very high and high climate vulnerable districts for programme intervention Conduct trainings for community stakeholder in Disaster preparedness Disaster Mitigation Coordination with grassroots community stakeholders for effective implementation of the standard operating procedures based disaster preparedness disaster mitigation Conduct capacity building for selected individuals volunteers in the areas of Disaster Risk Build the partnerships with various stakeholders for effective implementation of Disaster Risk Reduction The DRR team members in the State to keep track of the weather advisories that are circulated in case of an extreme weather event For Disaster Response all team members that are based out of districts in the State are the Main Point of Contact Education Requirement Necessary Graduation Post Graduation in Climate Change Environmental Science Natural Resource Management Disaster Management Desired Development Sector Experience Requirement Necessary Minimum 2 years of disaster management response experience Desired community based Disaster Risk Reduction Mitigation plan Skills Competencies B Function-specific Competencies Technical Functional Expected Proficiency Level 1-4 Leadership attributes 4 Entrepreneurial Mindset 4 Interpersonal Skills 4 Development sectorial knowledge 4
