Job Title: A dhesive tape manufacturing Product Manager

 Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly driven Production Manager – Converting Section to lead and oversee all converting operations within our adhesive tape manufacturing unit. This is a senior-level position requiring strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and complete control over production performance, quality, and team management.Key Responsibilities1. Production & Operations Management

- Take full ownership of the Converting Section , ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Manage and optimize production across:
- Slitting Machines
- Slicing Machines
- Logging Machines
- Rewinding Machines
- Die Punching Machines
- Ensure maximum machine utilization and minimize downtime.
- Ensure Process Standards & Controls to ensure consistent quality.
- Oversee machine setup, calibration, and handling for optimal output while monitoring, training and inspiring junior engineers, operators and helpers.

2. Productivity & Performance Control

- Maintain complete control over production planning, output, and efficiency .
- Monitor KPIs related to productivity, material wastage, and machine performance.
- Consistent Quality and ensuring Quality deviations are immediately RC-CAPA
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

3. Team Management & Training

- Lead, supervise, and train production manpower.
- Ensure proper skill development and machine handling training for operators.
- Maintain discipline, motivation, and a high-performance work culture.
- Foster a positive, safe, and productive work environment .

4. Maintenance & Safety

- Coordinate with maintenance team to ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance is effectively handled .
- Enforce strict adherence to safety standards and protocols .




- Ensure all machines and processes comply with safety and operational guidelines with close monitoring and improvements implimented .

5. Quality Control and Stable Quality

- Work closely with the quality team to ensure consistent product quality
- To ensure Processes & Standards are adhered to by Production team
- Monitor defects, reduce rejection rates, and ensure adherence to specifications.

6. Cross-Functional Coordination

- Coordinate closely with:
- Planning
- Quality
- Maintenance
- Stores & Dispatch
- To coordinate with Sales Coordination & Key Customers to fulfil their requirement in terms of quality & delivery
- Ensure seamless workflow and timely execution of production schedules.

Candidate RequirementsEducation

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Production / Industrial or related field

Experience

- Minimum 10-15 years of relevant experience in:
- Adhesive Tape Manufacturing
- Adhesive Tape Converting Industry
- Proven experience in handling converting machinery and production teams.
