Job Purpose To generate project-based sales for aluminium roofing sheets by identifying and acquiring new customers managing key accounts and liaising with architects builders contractors and consultants in the Chennai region This role focuses on project sales in industrial commercial and institutional sectors Key Responsibilities Project Sales Development Identify upcoming and ongoing industrial commercial infrastructure projects in Chennai and surrounding regions Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers - architects builders contractors consultants and government agencies Customer Acquisition Management Generate leads and convert them into business opportunities Develop current business and maintain relationships with existing clients for repeat business and referrals Sales Target Achievement Meet or exceed assigned sales targets for aluminium roofing sheets Ensure timely collection of payments and manage commercial negotiations effectively Market Intelligence Monitor competitor activities pricing trends and customer preferences Provide market feedback to product and management teams Technical Support Understand and explain product specifications application methods and technical benefits to clients Coordinate with the technical team for customized solutions as per project requirements Reporting Documentation Maintain up-to-date records of leads sales project pipelines and client communications in CRM or sales tools Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management review Key Requirements Education Graduate in any discipline MBA in Marketing preferred Experience 2-5 years in project sales preferably in roofing materials building materials or construction industry Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of the Chennai construction ecosystem Self-driven target-oriented Negotiation and analytical abilities Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools Languages Fluent in English and Tamil Preferred Industry Experience Aluminium Roofing Sheets Steel Metal Products Building Materials Construction Chemicals Hardware PEB Pre-Engineered Buildings Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 30 000 00 - 50 000 00 per month Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Commuter assistance Health insurance Internet reimbursement Provident Fund Work Location In person
