ABOUT SAADAA We are a direct-to-consumer D2C lifestyle brand Our vision is to advocate the SAADAA way of living and make BETTER basics for everyone RAHOSAADAA PEHNOSAADAA Top 1 Shopify stores in India we have been bootstrapped and profitable with industry leading benchmarks we have grown from a 100 sq ft garage to now a 150 people team within 4 years ROLE OVERVIEW The Product Development Technologist will lead the end-to-end product creation process from concept and silhouette research to fabric selection sampling fit analysis and product improvements This role requires a balance of creativity technical expertise and commercial acumen ensuring that every product developed both woven and knit is in line with brand aesthetics customer needs and market viability WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Lead full-cycle product development across knitwear and woven categories from concept ideation to final production readiness Conduct market and trend research to identify consumer preferences new silhouettes and design opportunities aligned with SAADAA s brand ethos Evaluate fabrics yarns trims and finishes ensuring quality functionality and sustainability compliance Develop accurate CAD sketches tech packs and patterns digital and paper-based for sampling and production execution Oversee sampling fittings and revisions ensuring technical precision pattern corrections and consistent quality standards Conduct vendor and mill visits to track development progress resolve technical challenges and ensure on-time delivery for the launch Manage product costing and efficiency balancing design aspirations with margin targets and material optimization Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising sourcing and production teams for smooth product transitions and launches Mentor junior team members fostering technical learning innovation and effective problem-solving WHO YOU ARE Bachelor s or Master s degree in Fashion Technology Textile Design Knitwear Design or a related field 6-9 years of experience in product development within a fashion brand across both knits and woven Strong technical understanding of garment construction garment manufacturing pattern development fit analysis and finishing techniques Proficiency in CAD design tools tech pack creation and garment construction Hands-on experience in quality checks lab testing and on-ground vendor coordination Strong grasp of costing principles and the ability to maintain commercial viability without compromising quality Excellent project management attention to detail and ability to manage multiple product lines simultaneously Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work seamlessly across teams WHY BE A PART OF SAADAA Do you feel out of place in a world full of unnecessary complexities Do you find joy in little things Are you an avid reader with a curiosity for understanding how things work and how we got here Do you believe life is simple and people around you are focusing on the wrong things Are you excited by the idea of learning new things or solving problems with the simplest solutions If the answer to all the above questions is yes you are in the right place The world is full of unnecessary complexities we as humans do not understand the burden of unconscious consumption We at SAADAA believe simplicity with better basics is the way to live a fulfilling life WHAT DO WE OFFER A team of empathetic problem solvers Growth path to becoming a leader An chance to drive meaning with products A culture of continuous learning Freedom freedom to explore fail and learn
