Key Responsibilities Design develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows using Snowflake Write efficient Python scripts for data extraction transformation and automation Implement Snowflake best practices for performance optimization and cost management Develop and manage ETL processes for loading data into Snowflake from various sources Collaborate with data analysts scientists and business teams to deliver data solutions Ensure data security governance and compliance within Snowflake environment Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and resolve production issues Required Skills Solid proficiency in Python programming Hands-on experience with Snowflake including SnowSQL Snowpipe Streams Tasks Knowledge of SQL and query optimization techniques Familiarity with cloud platforms AWS Azure or GCP and their integration with Snowflake Experience with ETL tools e g Airflow dbt Informatica and data modeling Understanding of data warehousing concepts and performance tuning Nice-to-Have Experience with Snowflake Python Connector or Snowpark for Python Knowledge of CI CD pipelines Git and DevOps practices Familiarity with BI tools Tableau Power BI for data visualization
