Location Remote - Permanent work from home Job Type Full-Time Night Shift U S Hours Experience Min 5 years in U S Mortgage Underwriting FHA VA About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced FHA VA Mortgage Underwriters to join our dynamic U S -based mortgage operations team This is a remote position based in India ideal for professionals with a strong background in U S mortgage underwriting particularly in FHA and VA loan programs You will be responsible for evaluating and verifying loan applications to ensure compliance with U S federal guidelines and investor requirements This role requires working night shifts to align with U S time zones Key Responsibilities Review and pre-underwrite FHA and VA mortgage loan files in compliance with HUD VA and investor guidelines Analyze credit reports income documentation asset statements and property appraisals Ensure accuracy and completeness of loan documentation Communicate effectively with U S -based loan officers processors and other stakeholders Maintain up-to-date knowledge of FHA VA guidelines and industry changes Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience underwriting U S mortgage loans specifically FHA and VA Strong understanding of U S mortgage regulations and compliance standards Proficiency in Encompass Excellent analytical communication and decision-making skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment Comfortable working U S night shifts IST late evening to early morning Solid English communication skills verbal and written Pay Range 10 - 25 Lakhs Per Annum depending on experience Job Type Full-time Pay 1 000 000 00 - 2 000 000 00 per year Benefits Health insurance Life insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Work from home Experience US Mortgage Underwriting 3 years Required Work Location Remote
