Project Role Engineering Services Practitioner Project Role Description Assist with end-to-end engineering services to develop technical engineering solutions to solve problems and achieve business objectives Solve engineering problems and achieve business objectives using scientific socio-economic technical knowledge and practical experience Work across structural and stress design qualification configuration and technical management Must have skills Wiring Harnesses Good to have skills NA Minimum 3 year s of experience is required Educational Qualification 15 years full time education Summary As a Mechanical Engineering Practitioner you will design analyze and build 3D Harness routing structures machines devices systems and mechanical processes A strategic aerospace engineering leader specializing in rotary wing platforms with a strong track record in driving technical delivery innovation and client satisfaction Experienced in shaping engineering processes delivery governance and team capability development Proven ability to influence design and compliance strategies through direct engagement with OEMs Tier-1 suppliers and regulatory bodies Passionate about digital transformation with a focus on advancing MBSE MBD and digital continuity across the product lifecycle Roles Responsibilities o You will join the Aerospace Engineering team contributing across the full engineering lifecycle from initial concept and design end-to-end E2E responsibilities o Key responsibilities include the design of 3D Harness routing and secondary structural Brackets assemblies and system installations o Create and manage digital models of harness layouts incorporating brackets supports and installation features to meet engineering standards o Apply client standard wiring harness design principles and criteria to ensure compliance manufacturability and maintainability o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate routing paths resolve spatial conflicts and optimize harness placement for performance and accessibility o Take full ownership of routing tasks delivering high-quality solutions with minimal supervision while adhering to program timelines and technical requirements o Act as a key contributor in design reviews audits and change control processes providing technical insight and ensuring alignment with client expectations o Share expertise and mentor junior engineers in 3D routing methodologies tools e g CATIA Capital and best practices fostering team growth and capability development Qualified Technical Skills o Proficient in the design and development of electrical harness systems including both design and installation phases o Hands-on experience with CATIA V5 Electrical module o well versed Airbus specific ESI tools o Skilled in interpreting and analyzing electrical wiring diagrams and engineering drawings for accurate implementation o Strong understanding of harness routing principles in relation to primary and secondary structural components o Familiar with ATA chapters and technical documentation standards such as SIDP and TDD o Knowledgeable in DQN RDR and MP implementation protocols ensuring compliance and traceability throughout the engineering lifecycle Additional Information - The candidate should have a 3 to 4 years of practical experience Electrical Harness Design Electrical Harness Installation - B Tech M Tech in Aerospace Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering is required - 15 years full time education - Must have skills Wiring Harnesses with Airbus methods process - Minimum 6 year s of experience is required Location Bengaluru 15 years full time education
